摘 要
近年来，国内旅游、国际旅游需求日益旺盛，旅游业作为一种新兴产业已经成为许多地区新的经济增长点，各地政府也都大力支持旅游业的发展。随着全球人口老龄化的加剧，我国老年人口数量也日益庞大，老年人这一消费群体的旅游问题受到越来越多的关注。老年旅游市场需求庞大，但是旅游企业的供给不足，导致想通过旅游来提升自己精神追求的老年人的这种愿望不能很好的实现。同时也使老年人“老有所养，老有所依，老有所学，老有所乐”这种社会共同追求的目标没能得到很好的体现。老年旅游市场的开发迫在眉睫，这对企业来说，既是挑战，也是机遇。
本文主要有六个组成部分。首先，通过对研究的背景、意义和方法等分析，对论文的框架结构有了大致的把握；其次，联系老年旅游的相关概念，总结老年旅游市场的特征，并对国内外文献的综述，找出研究学者们取得的成果和不足之处；再次，结合老年旅游市场的开发，发现其中存在的问题；接着，对老年旅游市场的开发进行可行性分析，为下一章开发策略的提出提供理论依据；进而，提出切实可行的开发策略，为老年旅游的发展营造一个良好的旅游环境；最后，通过河南省神洲旅行社老年旅游市场开发这一实例，找到其开发不足之处，并提出改进意见。其中，第三章、第五章是本论文研究的重点。
